definitely agree with all of this. from absolutely missed cards Pollywog Prodigy - this is clearly easy to get its power bigger for more card draw to get it to Rhystic study level (and Cedh might use it because of all the 0 cmc rocks in the format) Prosperous Bandit - the treasure may come in tapped but it stacks up by the damage delt so this can get a pretty big pay off plus its offspring able Bloodroot Apothecary - actually i can't believe this wasn't mentioned at all this is the best treasure hate to date easily

I'm building an oketra commander deck, and I'm using 2 planeswalkers, I'm also using elspeth, but I'm using the mono white ajani from jump-start, his +1 is that you gain life equal to the number of creatures you control plus the number of planeswalkers you control. You can also use him to wipe opponents boards as if you have at least 15 life more than your starting total, exile ajani and all nonland permanents( I think, it might also be just creatures) your opponents control

Artifact synergies would work great with Kambal since almost every pod is gonna have people making treasures, foods, clues, etc

I dig the toolbox aspect of this shell. My first EDH deck has been a Mono Green Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider +1/+1 counters w/ Superfriends sub-theme, but I’m thinking Shalai is gonna be my next deck. Probably less Stacksy than this, and more White for direct answers, but still leaning into the +1/+1 counters aspect. Your breakdown of different cards here was really helpful, though, so thank you! :)

how to build a bad deck:

Brash taunter, Stuffy doll, coalhauler swine, spitemare, mogg maniac, exetera. Indestructible equipment. Large damage to creatures and double damage enchantments. Deal damage tonyour own creatures repeatedly to kill opponents while they can't attack you safely or take out your creatures bevause or repeatable protection cantrips. You are protected. Just built this deck, and it's very good, deadly AF. Almost acts like a control deck. 👌

it's a lot of pieces, but if Ob nixilis is also on the battlefield for the combo, you would be able to drain your opponents 'infinitely'

I use her im my satoru umezawa commander deck. I got a lot of 1 defense ninjas with "dealt damage to player" abilities. Shes definetely a great early card to play before i go and ninjitsu in silver fur with thousand faces shadow or copy him wirh myojin of cryptic dreams.

I think you need to give a little more credit to Eldrazi Confluence. Flicker Emrakul’s Hatcher 3 times and you just created 9 - 0/1 Eldrazi Spawn for 4 mana.

cool card but power have rise to much. doesnt doble toughness so your creatures can die easily. it cost 3 mana, too mana hungry and not even instant ability. plus is gruul, probably worse colors in edh so, skip this even at low power edh you will feel behind everyone.

Guys you NEED nothing, if you stick to your Commander decks as they are, you’ll do probably fine.

i will say that at long last your the first actual youtuber to remember "maskwood nexus" effects with Azlask now Im rebuilding my morophon eldrazi's to Ulalek but Azlask is another great build around anyway

Ulalek seems like you want to keep it on board, while Azlask you may only need it out up to three times.
